She was certain she had said like a sister, and yet these two seemed to have taken her seriously. It didn’t matter much, either way. The comment had done its job; it had reassured Robyn, so that she didn’t think she was some kind of home wrecker, and it had at least convinced the two that they should dance together and leave Adair to her own devices. She was devilishly curious to see how Kabel would react, being so close to a human. Her intentions weren’t the noblest, despite what they may think.
As they wandered off, Kabel mentioned something about getting refreshments and not being covered in blood when he came back. It amused Adair to no end, and she flashed him a devious grin; she then spoke directly to his mind, knowing that it would startle him and wanting to at least cause a little mischief—YOU behave, Kabel. I could give you the exact same warning. She winked, then, discreetly.
Her attention drifted to back to Robyn, who mouthed a ‘thank you’. Adair’s devious smile was replaced by a more serene version. She simply nodded her ‘it’s okay’ before swivelling on her heel to find a place to sit and watch. Truth be told, she was slightly exhausted. Kabel had drained more blood than Adair could really spare. He had no idea how good the suggestion of ‘refreshments’ sounded right about now.
With that in mind, between an eye on Kabel and Robyn, Adair browsed the crowd for a healthy looking blood-bag that she might snack on.

Kabel has dealt with a few oddities within his life as a whole. This was definitely taking the cake and throttling him to his very roots. It's not like he could melt and become one with the Earth then and there. So, he had to deal with this and take everything as he pushes forward. It was a bit hard and Kabel had to confess that. Either way, within this current moment Kabel was losing his mind a bit. Like that moment he had misheard Adair's uttered words. Now, he's able to look back to consider what she had said. His mind had always been a sharp one and capable of recalling fragments from his memories. So, he churned her words within him and made note of what she had said. He'd have to correct something soon enough; after all, they weren't brother and sister. They were far from that albeit they had gone through something that did bind them, no? Yeah, that's true. His nose wrinkles somewhat as he finds himself drawn away. "We aren't really brother and sister," Kabel tells Robyn quickly to assure that they both had different biological ties. He's sure that wouldn't change Robyn's mind on that matter though with how strange their names truly are albeit to be fair that Kabel was only a nick name. "We're only --" Then something happens. Adair couldn't have violated Kabel any more than she had already done so far. She had taken him and made him hers, and had taken him home for him to forever be there. Now, for the first time, Kabel felt his mind trampled. Although that wouldn't be the correct use of words or even form to begin describing the feeling. He couldn't exactly explain what had happened; after all, it happens so quickly that his mouth falls open. He wasn't sure how to contact her back though. It's not exactly easy to call upon your mind's muscle and string someone; pin them with your mind. So, he thought feebly of her and thought the words he would have told her straight to her face as blunt as ever. I'm a good boy. [/b][/center] Yeah, maybe a lie. Who knew? He's charming, sure, but did he come off as someone terrible? Not exactly. Either way, he's still with Robyn and looking at her made his skin shiver. He swallows and pinches an eye shut. "--like brother and sister. You know, like good friends," he says simply. "Anyway," Kabel breathes out and looks down onto Robyn's face. She looks so young; pretty, too. It's strange that finds himself looking at her though like he would have an extravagant...meal, yeah. That's very strange. Especially more so that he could taste her on the air and was ready to salivate. "I can lead you," he says and nods. "With the dance I mean. You can even put your feet on mine," he teases her and wrinkles his nose somewhat. His mind churns all the while and grasps for some semblance of a thread for Adair. It didn't exactly seem to work though. He'd have to practice that or at the very least ask Adair about the damned thing. What other things could he do that he did not yet know? It's almost exhilerating. It's breathing life within him and that curious ever working mind of his wanted to embrace this and meld with such things. Very, very strange. Is this normal? It's what his mind questions. Unheard, too, maybe.

“Oh,” Robyn murmurs in reply to Kabel’s words. So they weren’t siblings, after all. Oh, well, it didn’t so much matter whether they were or not, so long as Adair wasn’t about to get jealous over the two of them dancing, flirting, and the like. Perhaps even a kiss, though Robyn wasn’t about to put that in her date book, let alone in pen.
An easy smile spreads across the breadth of her pretty features, then. This would be… well, it would most definitely be different. Exciting, maybe. It’d been some time since Robyn had been to a dance of any time, perhaps since she was in middle school. And while that may have only been five or six years, it seemed like much longer. Maybe it’s the simple fact that Robyn is so young, and, well, six years is a good chunk of her life! Naught but distant memories by this point. Even so, she wasn’t so sure that those dances had been good times, or bad. She no doubt had had dates to them. Of course not all dates were pleasant ones.
Either way, that was all in the past now. And here she was, in the middle of some dark city with her palms settling upon the rise of Kabel’s shoulders. Her heart flutters in that moment, and those nervous butterflies burst free within the pit of her stomach. She was nervous. Maybe that’s the problem with women. They expected the worst of things. Robyn expected to embarrass herself, or trip over her feet, step on his, or maybe even all three. But Kabel, he seemed so, well, so easy going in that moment. Maybe it was just her, though.
Without even the slightest of flinches Miss Warwick shakes all those thoughts from the pretty head of hers. Everything would be fine, so long as she kept out of her head. “That would be fantastic,” Robyn agrees almost eagerly. She sounds almost all too relieved in that moment, but manages to recover with a quick and widening smile.
Her small hands shift, then, smoothing downwards to cup timidly upon Kabel’s hips, then. A single foot lifts upwards before settling upon the top of Kabel’s own foot. The small girl bites to her lower lip, lifting herself upwards if only a slight to test her bearings. Was she too heavy for Kabel? Probably not. Or at the very least, she hoped not! Her other foot lifts upwards to settle upon Kabel’s other almost awkwardly. She’s near clinging to him in that moment, lest she stumble backwards and fumble onto her backside.
“Okay,” she assures him with another of those almost childish smiles. “Let’s get this show on the road,” she continues onwards, hands gripping frantically to the fabric of his pants, a single hand slipping back to grip none too discreetly upon his backside.
She was only human, after all.

It was probably a good thing that Kabel had found Robyn and was keeping her well occupied. Otherwise, a lone female amongst such a raucous crowd would appear to be fresh and easy prey. Hell, even as the thought about it, Adair was chuckling idly to herself. She probably shouldn’t be so dismissive of the young girl’s life, but Kabel was a fledgling and there was a good chance yet that Robyn might become prey.
A sigh slipped from Adair as she thoroughly thought the situation though. As much as she wanted Kabel to get used to the idea of being a vampire, and feeding on the random innocent, it probably wasn’t wise to let him do so on a human who he might have grown a small bit attached to. Even they had just met. He might very well hate Adair for turning him into a monster. And that was the last thing she wanted.
So she vowed to be quick with her own feeding, just to make sure she was just on the edge of Kabel’s vision—to make sure she could stop him if he tried anything. Lead him toward a more unsavoury character... someone whose death would not plague his conscience so much. It should be easy enough to do on a night like this. There ought to be unsavoury characters abound.
As for Adair, she hadn’t a taste for the unsavoury ones . They were always bitter or tasted of alcohol and drugs. No, she liked the young, ripe ones. Ones her own age. Ones who provided her with a little adrenaline. Mmm.
She found just a one wandering around on his own. She didn’t know whether he was truly alone or whether he’d lost his date. He was wearing half a mask, so although his features were mostly obscured she could still see his lush, pouty lips. And as she passed him by she was overwhelmed with the scent of young masculinity; he’d been dancing, or running amok. She could smell it on him.
She reached backward and grabbed him by the collar. She grinned at him, mischievously, and placed a tender, teasing kiss on those pouty lips. It was enough to have him following her like some puppy, and soon she had him in a dark corner veiled by shadows. No one paid any attention, and if they caught sight of the two of them they averted their gaze, leaving two lovers to their canoodling.
Adair didn’t allow him time to struggle or scream. Within a minute he was drained of his blood and slumped lifeless on the ground. She left him there to be found by some other reveller—she left the alley and immersed herself back into the crowd, heading toward the dancers to find Kabel again, to continue to remain like some omniscient presence in the corner of his world.
