Cosmo had really pushed himself this time. Why hadn't he fed earlier?! Now he was weak, and vulnerable to the hunters who were no doubt probably just around the god forsaken corner! His eyes were glazed over and silver as he moved quickly over the rooftops. Being so low on blood, he needed a younger, healthier victim. Just then, a young woman turned down an alleyway, alone. Perfect.
He much preffered to feed on women rather than men. Cosmo liked the sweetness of their blood, their innocence prehaps. Though, he sometimes felt a slight twinge of guilt for feeding such innocent beings. All the same, he was in his animalistic mode now, hungry and weak. He needed to feed, and this young lady would have to do. She seemed healthy enough.
Using shadows, he leaped down onto the cold cement of the alley floor silently, and out of sight. The young lady seemed to be walking home, prehaps she lived in one of the apartments that were hidden behind skyscrapers and businesses. As he approached her, gaining a few feet with each second, he could hear her heart beat.
A steady pace, yet he thought he could sense anxiousness in it. Prehaps she was on her way to see her boyfriend or something of that matter. Don't worry my dear, I won't take too much of your time. He thought as a smirk spread across his face. He would be quick, and drink only until he was full and no longer in such a weak state. It was sad, he would not fully be able to enjoy himself as he usually did.
Cosmo stepped up behind her, wrapping one arm around the girl's petite waist, and the other held her neck gently. He smiled as he heard her gasp lightly. "Shush, shush. Everything's going to be alright my dear." He whispered into her ear before brushing aside her long brown hair gently and then piercing her skin with his fangs.
Blood flowed into his mouth seconds later, as the girl struggled slightly, and then relaxed in his grasp, fainting. He did not drag the process out, and in a minute or two he was done. The young lady's blood was average, and tasted slightly of mint. Or prehaps that was the coffee he had had earlier. It was hard to tell this late at night. Just then, his ears pricked up as he heard a noise in the alleyway, echoing from a good couple of yards away. A scent then followed the noise, the scent of an immortal. Cosmo's back was to whoever they were. Gently, with the woman in his arms bridal style, he turned to face whoever the disturber was. At least they had waited until he was finished.

Her nightly stroll to the bar. That was the reason she was out tonight, like any other night. She hadn't had her Rum this evening and that bothered her, not that she was an alcoholic or anything like that, it was simply a ritual she had stuck with every night since she was a human.
She was an oddly dressed girl, in bright colors, mostly in reds and oranges. Her hair matched. Her clothes were almost skin tight, but thats how she likes them.
She smelled the air, it was fresh for the time being. One foot in from of the other, over and over until that fresh air was tainted with the sweet smell of blood. Of course it would be the better idea to ignore it and not go poking about to see where it came from.
Oh well.
She brought herself to the scene of a man and a woman, he held her bridal style, facing Pippa. She simply smiled and threw her arms up. "I love weddings, and i wasn't invited?!" She teased and walked toward the two. Of course she knew the woman wasn't going to respond to her so she spoke to the man. "Lets celebrate this joyous occasion at the bar!" Of course she meant the 'wedding'. Such a strange girl she was. Honestly this was only a lame excuse to find someone to have a drink with her. She turned her back slightly but kept her eyes on the man and she waved a hand for him to follow.[/blockquote]

Cosmo's eyes flickered to the woman as she rounded the corner. He always tried to pick up every detail about every person he met. Cosmo might not always remember a name, but he never forgot a face. The woman wore bright colors, reminding him of Kael'rah. Prehaps they were friends.
He also noticing her clothing was tight, and then he saw her hair. An usual and uncommon shade, unique. When she said that she loved weddings, and asked why she hadn't been invited, Cosmo chuckled a grin spreading across his face. He wipped the blood off of the corners of his lips with the back of his sleeve before gently setting the woman back down onto the ground.
"I'm sorry, I must have left your invitation at home." He said before walking over to her, raising an eyebrow curiously. "A drink might be nice after feeding." He commented, knowing that she was an immortal like him, so he was free to chat about the vampiric deeds.
Cosmo cleared his throat, looking down at her as they headed towards the nearby bar. "I'm Cosmo by the way. And you are?" He asked, figuring that if they were going to have a drink together he might as well know his companion's name.

She chuckled to herself and rolled her eyes, certainly not to be rude, then she said "Forgetfulness isn't a very good trait Cosmo." She paused and looked at him, she was always so very sarcastic... not so much sarcastic as she was a smart ass. "Forgetting things can get you into trouble, specially if you got a lady friend."
She again snickered to herself, she should know, in her human years, forgetting birthdays or anniversary's of her loved ones got her a 'talking to' that she never enjoyed. "Well I'm Pippa Laren." She began to walk and knew he would follow. She made her way to the nearby bar. Only half a block from where she met Cosmo. She looked at him once more and walked in and taking a seat at a small round table with a few chairs at it. She waved at the bartender and he knew what she was going to order, 'the usual'. And sure enough the rum was in front of her. "What do you want to drink Cosmo?"[/blockquote]
