Jung-Hwa still didn’t understand what Toshiya was on about, but he decided not to pursue the matter any further. Additionally, he too was distracted by the oncoming couple, their scuffle providing quite a show to curious onlookers. He hated the drama that surrounded couples, in fact he hated the drama that surrounded most social interaction, which was why he limited himself so much. Turning his head to face Toshiya only briefly, he parted his lips to answer his question before the woman’s voice caught his attention. The man was walking away, and to be fair, Jung-Hwa could not blame the fellow; though he did doubt the man could hear her as loudly as he did. Shifting his weight onto his left foot, realizing they had come somewhat to a stop to watch, Jung-Hwa collected his thoughts and replied dismissively in Korean.
“Shikon is a crazy bitch...”
He had no idea why he could not reach his sire, and he had no one else to ask about it. The only other blood connection he knew of was MavericksChild, and he would give her a wide berth until he was strong enough to crush her. No, he did not have an answer, and so he vented his frustration by blaming the woman. Truth be told, Shikon had not been so bad to him; she had offered him immortality and a nice sum of cash, though her guidance was severely lacking.
“Uruse...**” he muttered in reply to Toshiya’s comment about the girl. Watching her for a few seconds, he remembered what they had agreed upon before the couple’s scuffle had distracted them. Nudging the other vampire’s arm with his elbow, he made eye contact before motioning with his chin in her direction. The girl was walking towards them.
“Are you game?”
It wouldn’t hurt to have a little fun at food’s expense, after all, it wasn’t really in a place to complain.
** "Urusai (うるさい)" also can be used as "Stop bothering me!" or "Shut up!", means "pesky" and "annoying" (adj.). Can be used towards third party too. Jung-Hwa uses male slang pronounciation.
