Panic flutters within Miss Flower’s chest, accompanied with that almost vague feeling of bliss one may experience after simply feeding. Though that high is nearly all but suffocated by the sense of panic. Not to mention the deep thrum of regret settling within the pit of her stomach.
What had she just done? Well, the answer to that is quite simple. Cadence had sired this poor boy before her, and drug him into her world. Why, though? Simply because as a woman Cadence wanted to make that other little girl jealous. Coraline, or whatever her name was - it didn’t so much matter now, since she’s long gone by this point. Damn. Well, it was far too late to take her actions back now, and Cadence couldn’t simply abandon him could she?
No. Despite her self doubt was the more important fact that Cade had fought for this young man. Well, fought to the best of her abilities anyway, that’s to say a simple argument had occurred, and while it’d been heated, it certainly could have ended up much worse.
Those pretty almond shaped eyes of hers pinched closed for a short moment before a tiny hand lifts upwards to brush fingertips through dark hair. Well, what now? Hell, she didn’t know, just as she’s sure Chess didn’t know how to handle himself either. How had it been when Cadence had been turned? Well, she’d been left to fend for herself, more or less, and it’d been hell, to say the least of things, still, she’d managed, and here she was now, with her own little mistake to take care of. “Charlie is not going to be happy,” Cadence observes smartly with a tip to her pretty head; once more, peering toward Chess.
Once more her hands worry throughout her hair with a hot and heavy sort of sigh, frustration is more than apparent in that moment. Fuck her. “Let’s get out of here, Chess,” Cadence urges suddenly. This problem wasn’t going to solve itself, after all. A small hand gropes for his only to sweep up his fingertips to easily tug him onwards and from that almost sleazy back alley which she’d previously escorted him toward - you know, for privacy. “We need to figure out what I’m going to do with you,” Cadence murmurs, with some attempts at sounding teasing.
Cadence peeks outwards and around that corner in an almost bashful manner. For onlookers it would be an easy assumption to make that the two were simply young lovers who couldn’t keep them hands to themselves. That couldn’t be much further from the truth, “Do you drink?” Cadence asks suddenly, “Booze, that is, not like… blood,” the small girl rolls her eyes a slight at the thought of indulging upon live flesh any more than she had tonight, though Chess may have to, they’d find out soon enough, “I think I could use a drink,” she finally confesses with the slightest of scowls.
Despite her displeasure Cade’s hand never falls from within Chess’ own.
“Needless to say, you’ll be staying with me tonight,” Miss Flowers demands of him suddenly, her brows coming to furrow once more. Her house mate would definitely not be happy with this, at all.
